Having a little fun with ASMR…. and failed ✨

So one of my Instagram followers suggested that I attempt to do an unboxing via ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). Without getting too technical, this is the process of, when used on video, used to ‘massage’ your brain. So your get this mental massage through a series of ‘triggers’ like nail-tapping, the sound of brushing hair, whispering, etc. Well, trying to do it was so FUNNY for me!!!! Despite the fact that I failed at it miserably, I think I’ll do it again in the future…only because it was fun and a loyal subscriber requested it. Enjoy watching me being silly 😎

Bandage vs. Bodycon 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hey Babes 🦋      Here’s a frequently asked question that seems to go without a definite answer: What is the difference between a bandage dress and a bodycon dress? Well, when we go looking for a bodycon dress, which is more commonly looked-for, we seem to seek out what will make us look more ‘curvy’. Oftentimes, we search for bandage dresses, expecting the same thing. A bodycon dress is a dress usually made with polyester that hugs the body in a smooth manner. On the other hand, a bandage dress is just that – bandage fitting. Bandage dresses can be made in layers or gives the appearance of the dress overlaying like bandages, but still giving a bodycon silhouette. Hope my input was some help to you. Louisiana and the flood of 2016

For those of us who are familiar with the flood of 2016, you know that unpredictable storm brought grief and devastation to southeast Louisiana at what we predicted to be the end of hurricane season. Also known as the ‘100-year rain event”, this rainstorm moved in as a hurricane without the wind and without a warning. At the peak, close to 20% of businesses in the state of Louisiana were affected by the storm, while over 6,000 businesses experienced physical flooding throughout East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension, and other surrounding parishes. While the cleanup and the federal assistance has dragged out and stress the locals to this day, what is remarkable is the way in which the people of south Louisiana have managed to stay optimistic and true to tradition. With the flood of 2016 also came another storm: presidential election season. When the annual SpanishTown parade came around in the city of Baton Rouge, came a new theme of ‘Come

Facebook and the Bystander Effect

Yes, I know that I am normally posting about my website’s latest fashions and about the contests I sponsor on Polypore and my travels but…..I had to take a second to discuss something. Usually, Facebook is full of rants of current events, calls for release of everyone from political prisoners to freeing distant cousins that are incarcerated at the nearby county jail. Its freedom of speech and one of the many things that makes this country unique. While in the same breath, its also the thing that allows us to observe one’s true thought when in a setting of relaxation or on a topic in which people have a strong opinion. I was told by a wise person that ‘three things in this world or at the origin of all wars: women, religion, and politics”. I thank that person for all of the wise words throughout my years and understand that while those are the origins, they branch out into
