So one of the many beautiful things about living in Louisiana is the ability to have a good time without planning it. This weekend marked the end of the 2018 JazzFest and the 300th Anniversary of the city of New Orleans. While the tickets to such an event may not seem reasonable, having access to stage acts from Anita Baker to Aerosmith makes it worth the wild!
So I didn’t see Aerosmith or Ms. Baker, but I did witness the legendary hiphop master LL Cool J rock the golden mic on JazzFest Congo Square Stage 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Here’s my backstage view:
While spending some time in New Orleans, I decided to take in some of the views I’ve grown up with and share it with you. Being from this great state, I missed it tremendously while I was in the U.S. Army. When I moved to New York, I would make sure I took a vacation to come back around this time of the year.
